How we handle your information

This policy explains what information ORA Metal Roofing Partners ("ORA," "we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact details you enter in our forms, such as your name, company, email and phone number.
• Project files you upload, such as Hover or EagleView reports, work orders, scopes of work, contracts and photos. These may include a homeowner's name, property address and photos of their home.
• Payment information when you pay an invoice. Card and bank details are entered with our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on ORA's servers.
• Job applications you send through our careers page, such as work history and contact details.
• Usage data collected automatically, such as browser type, pages visited and general location, through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To review projects, prepare quotes, order materials and schedule and perform work.
• To communicate with you, and with your homeowner only when you ask us to.
• To process payments and keep business and tax records.
• To review job applications.
• To run, secure and improve the website.

Homeowner information

When a contractor sends us a job, we handle the homeowner's information on that contractor's behalf, only to price and complete that job. We do not market to homeowners, and we do not use their information for any other purpose. Contractors are responsible for having permission to share it with us.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, file storage, email and payment processing (Stripe).
• Material suppliers, when we order materials for your job.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep project files and job records as long as needed to complete the work, honor warranties and meet legal and tax requirements. Job applications are kept for up to [retention period]. We then delete or anonymize the information.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections and access limits. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us at office@partnerwithora.com. Depending on where you live, including under Virginia law, you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Emails and text messages

By submitting a form, you agree that ORA may contact you by email, phone or text about your projects and quotes. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.

Children

This website is for businesses and job seekers 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

Using this website

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Estimates are not quotes

The price estimator, sample quote and pricing shown on this site are ballpark figures for general information only. They are not offers or binding quotes. Pricing is updated quarterly and may change without notice. Your price is set only by a written quote from ORA, based on a full takeoff of your project, and that quote and any signed agreement govern the work.

Files you upload

When you upload files or submit information, you confirm that you have the right to share it with us, including any homeowner information it contains, and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You give ORA permission to use those files to review, quote and perform the work.

Work and warranties

Installation work is governed by the written quote and agreement for each job, not by this website. ORA's 7-year workmanship warranty applies as stated in that agreement. Coil and paint warranties are limited warranties issued by the coil manufacturer, McElroy Metal or Englert, not by ORA, and are subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Online payments

Invoice payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. ORA does not store card or bank account numbers. Payment is due as stated on your invoice. Questions about a charge should be sent to office@partnerwithora.com before filing a dispute with your bank.

Photos and content

The text, logos, photos and design on this site belong to ORA or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Project photos may show work completed for partner contractors and are shown with permission.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, including by uploading harmful files, trying to gain unauthorized access, or submitting false information.

Links to other sites

Links to other websites, such as manufacturer sites, are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty and limits of liability

This website is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, ORA is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. This section does not limit any rights you have under a signed agreement with ORA.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Accessibility statement

ORA wants this website to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we review the site as we update it.
